Macdonald Ebere Led Rancor-Free, Inclusive APC in Imo – Ibekwe

Foremost Imo influencer and social commentator, Darlington Chidera Ibekwe, has lauded the leadership of former Imo State Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Macdonald Ebere, describing his tenure as rancor-free, inclusive, and highly successful.
In a statement made available to newsmen, Ibekwe noted that Ebere led an administration that prioritized unity and internal harmony, ensuring that the party remained stable even during potentially turbulent periods.
He emphasized that Ebere’s leadership style was anchored on inclusiveness, with conscious efforts made to accommodate party stakeholders across different levels, including grassroots mobilizers, youths, and women.
“Ebere ran an all-inclusive APC in Imo State. His leadership brought together diverse interests within the party and created an atmosphere of cooperation and shared purpose,” Ibekwe stated.
According to him, the peaceful internal environment under Ebere translated into tangible political gains, as the party recorded seamless victories in elections conducted during his tenure.
“The successes recorded by the APC during his time did not come by accident. They were the result of strategic planning, effective coordination, and a leadership that understood the importance of unity,” he added.
Ibekwe further noted that Ebere’s ability to maintain cohesion within the party contributed significantly to strengthening its structure and expanding its influence across the state.
He therefore called on party leaders and stakeholders to continue to encourage and support leaders with proven capacity such as Ebere, stressing that his experience and leadership style remain valuable to the party’s continued growth.
He concluded by urging members of the APC to sustain the spirit of inclusiveness and unity that defined Ebere’s tenure, noting that such values are critical for long-term political stability and success.
