2027: Youth Group urge Anthony Anyaehie to contest Reps seat

Youths from Nkwerre, Isu, Nwangele, and Njaba Local Government Areas have called on Hon. Anthony Anyaehie to declare his intention to contest for the Federal House of Representatives, citing his leadership qualities and inclusive style of governance.

The call was made during a press conference convened by the NINN Alliance for Good Governance, a coalition of youth stakeholders across the federal constituency.

Addressing journalists, the Convener of the group, Nze Chinakwere Onuoha, described Anyaehie as a tested administrator whose performance in public office has earned him widespread admiration, particularly among young people.

According to Onuoha, Anyaehie’s tenure as General Manager of ENTRACO is marked by an open-door policy that ensured accessibility and responsiveness to the needs of the people.

“He demonstrated a rare leadership style anchored on accommodation and inclusivity. As GM of ENTRACO, he made himself available to everyone and consistently provided solutions to issues brought before him,” Onuoha stated.

The group maintained that Anyaehie’s track record in public service positions him as a credible and capable candidate to represent the constituency at the National Assembly.

They further pledged their full support should he heed their call to contest, revealing plans to mobilize resources toward securing his candidacy.

“If he accepts to run, the youths of Nkwerre Federal Constituency, under the NINN Alliance for Good Governance, will rally round him and take concrete steps, including the purchase of the APC House of Representatives nomination form,” Onuoha added.

The youths emphasized the need for purposeful and people-oriented representation, expressing confidence that Anyaehie possesses the vision and leadership capacity required to advance the interests of the constituency at the federal level.
